由著名的商學院：beat365、哈佛商學院和中歐國際工商學院結合各方的學術實力，聯合打造高端精品課程－高級經理人課程（Senior Executive Program for China），以滿足在華企業高層管理人員在新的經濟環境下所面臨的商務與管理方面的需求。該課程将遵循學術嚴謹、形式多樣、學有實效的原則，組織卓越的師資團隊，量身定制富有中國特色的高層管理課程。2008年度的課程将于6月15-26日在北京beat365、10月26日－11月6日在上海中歐國際工商學院以及12月7-18日在美國波士頓哈佛商學院展開。
為此，我們特地邀請了哈佛大學高級副院長、哈佛商學院資深教授F.沃倫.麥克法蘭（F.Warren McFarlan）莅臨中國為大家準備了一場主題為《信息化時代的組織轉型》的專題演講。正如托馬斯·弗裡德曼（Thomas Friedman）在《世界是平的》一書中所述，信息化時代為企業的全球化戰略帶來了種種可能與無盡的想象。但凡事總有其兩面性，看似平坦的道路也暗藏了許多旋渦，企業應如何适時地做出調整，抓住信息變革為企業帶來的契機，提升其全球競争力是本次論壇的主要探讨方向。

沃論·麥克法蘭（F. Warren McFarlan）教授簡介
1959年在哈佛大學獲得學士學位，1961年和1965年在哈佛商學院分獲工商管理碩士（MBA）工商管理博士（DBA）學位，曾任哈佛商學院高級副院長及亞太地區發展總監，哈佛商學院工商管理阿爾伯特·戈登教授（Albert H. Gordon Professor of Business Adm inistration）。麥克法蘭教授發表大量學術論著，包括《信息系統研究的挑戰》、《連接斷點》、《公司信息戰略與管理：教程與案例》、《IT戰略與競争優勢：信息時代的中國企業管理挑戰與案例》等著作，并多次在《哈佛商業評論》上發表文章。麥克法蘭教授曾任國際權威學術雜志《管理信息系統季刊》（MIS Quarterly）的高級主編，并任多家公司和非營利組織的董事會成員。
作為哈佛商學院IT領域的創始人，麥克法蘭教授早在1962年就在哈佛商學院開設管理信息系統課程。可以說，他親曆了IT業由萌芽到井噴式發展的整個階段，麥克法蘭教授以其敏銳的洞察力向大家揭示在信息化時代CEO和高層經理人需要怎樣的組織領導力，以及如何将信息技術治理委員會引入公司治理體系。

The school of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University; China Europe International Business School; and Harvard Business School have joined academic forces to deliver the upmarket and pithy program- Senior Executive Program for China. The program specifically addresses the business and management challenges executives are facing under the latest economic situation inChinatoday. By applying the principles of academic rigor, diversity, and impactful learning, this powerful educational alliance enables the outstanding faculty team to adapt a senior management program with unique relevance toChina. The modules of the program for the year 2008 will be delivered at Tsinghua University in Beijing from June 15th-26th; atChina Europe International Business School in Shanghai from October 26thto November 6th; and at Harvard Business School in Boston, USA from December 7th- 18th.
Therefore, with our sincere invitation, Professor F. Warren McFarlan, the senior deputy dean ofHarvardUniversityand the senior professor ofHarvardBusinessSchool, will make a speech titled “The Transformed Organization in the Information Age”. As Thomas Friedman states in his book “The World is Flat”, information age brings variety possibilities and endless imagine to enterprises’ globalization strategy. However everything has its the other side, there may be many trap on the appeared flat road. How do enterprises make timely adjustment, grasp the chances the information revolution brings, and improve their global competition capability is the main discussion topic during this forum.
